Unconventional Timing.

Today I am so thankful to be a mom.
I have recently heard a story of a woman who has been trying to become a mother for 6 years.
My heart hurt for her.
I am lucky.
I might not have had picked the best timing to start motherhood. But I am so glad that I have the opportunity to experience it. 

There are all types of moms out there, some have to become moms in unconventional ways.. and I did at an unconventional time.

This post is a happy post. I am Bostons mom. No one, no matter how disrespectful they are, can take that away.  (and believe me there are people that disrespectful..) Trying to do so really is offensive to the role of motherhood. I know what her smiles mean, I know what each different cry means. Although its hard sometimes I am the only one to wake up with her in the night. I was the one excited for her arrival. I am the one who rocks her to sleep. I know her favorite foods. I know almost everything there is to know about my tiny human.

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path.
