What is a mom?

I asked this question to my facebook friends and here the responses I got...

*Nicole Thomas I read a story to Kwintzy all the time about a little spider looking for her mom..& at the end it says "for finding your mother, there's one certain test. You must look for the creature that loves you the best." I love it! When you become a mom everything changes!! Becoming a mom you look at the world though new eyes, the only thing that matters is what is best for your child! My dreams, my future, & my hobbies have all changed! She's #1!

*Jami Jo Grimes A mom is everything! A teacher, a nurturer, a nurse, a bodyguard, her childrens' biggest fan, a caregiver, a chef, a maid & a friend. She does all these things selflessly and unconditionally. She loves with a love so deep there are no words. Her kids are her life! A mom sacrifices her needs for those of her children because she wants to. A mother knows her children like nobody else does and prays for them several times a day. That's what my definition of a 'mom' is

I loved every single one of these responses! Sometimes I feel like I am even better than I am because I created something so amazing!I am so lucky to have became a mom this year. 

I have received a plethora of messages from people who are mad for me with another person viciously trying to say she is Bostons mom and people who want to contact this person to let them know it is distasteful and disrespectful ... I appreciate all of the support I have gotten from people  BUT I am ok, it is classless on this persons part and something that is most likely done because of insecurities. Chasing someone's dad while their mom is pregnant with them will classify you as a lot of things but a mom is not one of them. I know people have been waiting for me to blow up but I dont need to because I am Bostons mom, I am her only mom, I am who she will grow up calling mom, so am much as I like people having my back I am fine because I know that and so does Boston.
