When I was in 8th grade I liked a boy who was in 7th grade (I guess I have always liked younger guys, what of it). Well, this boy is married now with kids of his own and instead of mentioning him on here I will call him 'Tom, (I also checked my yearbook and there were no Toms that age). Tom and I had an amazing two weeks where we 'went out' which basically consisted of the title, a few notes passed back and forth to each other between classes and holding hands one time at the local theater on a weekend night.
Everything with Tom was perfect in junior high terms except one thing. Tom had a 7th grade girl who also liked him, so naturally I became her enemy.... And so the AAA was created amongst her friends. No, the AAA had nothing to do with alcohol (we were only 13) the AAA stood for the Anti Ashlynn Association. And these girls hated me. It's funny now, and later I actually became friends with this girl. Junior high is a funny place. I remember though not being sad or mad about the AAA, mostly just annoyed.
I'm currently dealing with the same type if annoyance, and yet sadly long out of junior high. I constantly have to remind myself that some people are like the stinky, neighborhood dog that yaps at your feet while you are on a walk. You could be mad at this dog and yell at it to go away, but then you think to yourself that's it's a dog your yelling at it would do no good and it doesnt matter, because dogs don't understand common sense anyways.
I'm in class and killing some time on my phone and was feeling very metaphorical and this popped up into my head, so excuse any type-o's or ramblings.
Baby B is on the mend and feeling a lot better. We are still taking her antibiotics to make sure she gets completely better. The last few nights we have been having a little battle of getting her to sleep in her own bed, since she was sick and slept in mine. So far the score is Boston 3, Mom 0.
