Today however I read John 3:16. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
To break it down so I can relate to it blows my mind. For me it's easier to have myself hurt or to give myself... But to give my child like Heavenly Father did is an overwhelming thought. He did this and all he asked for in return is from us is to believe in him.
Today we are celebrating Easter with our family. We are loving the warm weather so much! On our way here we passed a man at the gas station close to our house. His name is Alan, and he as usual was holding a sign that reads "Will work for food". I know it's not safe in 2013 but once a week Boston and I will pick him up, drive him to McDonald's and let him pick out lunch. Today we did that again but decided this time to go in and eat with him since it was Easter. We didn't speak a lot but I could tell having the company was something he enjoyed. I am not well off by any means, but I am doing better than I was. And even when Boston and were the poorest we have ever been we never had to go without food we have always had family and friends to help us out. And I always try to remember "because I have been given much I too must give" and to pay what I can forward.
Happy Easter from us BRONSON girls.
Happy Easter!
