Week in Review

This week seemed extraordinary busy but in retrospect I'm not quite certain I accomplished a lot. Between work, Boston and everything else I felt overwhelmed. At night when I'm trying to fall asleep I stress myself out wondering if I did enough for Boston that day...did she learn new things....did she have fun... did she like what I fed her...was she happy...did we cuddle enough...did she get enough attention...I literally lose sleep over these thoughts and try to come up with ways to make sure I am doing enough for her. When do you ever know what enough is? I feel like now-a-days you cant just be a mom but you have to strive to be the best mom. I don't do Pinterest but I hear all about it from friends and family and I could never keep up with what those moms on there do.

This week we worked on brushing our teeth which I probably enjoy brushing Bostons more than she likes it. She also had her year old check up. She is in the 20th and 25th percentile in weight and height and 95th percentile with her head size, I'm glad I passed those traits to her. The day before her check up I took her to her babysitter for the day, my amazing friend, Lauren, after twenty minutes after Lauren called me because Boston had Pink Eye. I felt so dumb for not recognizing and making Boston go there to possibly get Laurens baby sick; luckily she was so sweet about it. My mom once again came to the rescue and got Boston so I could go to work. I picked up her medicine and the next day we were lucky to find out it was just a cold in her eye, not Pink Eye.

After I had Boston I was (blessed) diagnosed with a hyper-thyroid, basically I eat the worst most un-healthy foods in the world and I dont gain weight. I put this to the test this week when I discovered Smiths Bakery Almond Poppy-seed giant muffins....which I ate 24 of in a span of four days! We did the math and that is 16,000 calories consumed in muffins alone, along with the bags of Cadburry Eggs I cant say "no" to and the 3-4 32 ounce soda's I drink daily. I have no self-control.... I decided that I needed to stop and have forced myself to no longer  buy any, have drank only water 3 days in a row (minus the Orange Mt. Dew I had tonight... baby-steps.) and put in a pathetic performance at Sports Academy (that I am planning on improving).

I hope your week was just as great, hopefully better as ours! Thanks for the nice messages and the love and support. I will stop slacking and I will be back tomorrow.
