Moms Day

I was thinking about Mothers Day this morning while Boston was still sleeping. This year for Mothers Day she will cuddle with me and give me kisses. As she gets older, like most people, the gifts she give will be better, in the fact that they will cost more. In twenty years from now I will probably be receiving something from her that a woman in her forty's would want, I don't know... Pictures or decor or something like that. She might be giving me this gift from her and her husband, and/or maybe a baby, this is Utah (thinking about that just gave me a panic attack!) I will love and appreciate it but I know I will be thinking of the year she gave me hugs and kisses, just like I tend to miss last year when she just cuddled all of the time and held still...

We have had such a good week; we really are blessed. On Wednesday night our friends came over and brought us a giant thing of Bleu Cheese from Buffalo Wild Wings; and here is the embarrassing part... I cried because I was so happy about it. (gross picture...crying over my bleu cheese here)

We fed ducks, went to the farmers market, went on stroller walks and I bought Boston her first Barbie. It is a Barbie in a swimsuit...That she keeps calling "mom" since I don't resemble a Barbie I need to maybe take this as a hint to go swimming less or wear more clothes.. I am so lucky to have such a good mom and Boston is so lucky to have such an amazing grandma.
