Good Day

Last night was going to be the night that Boston slept in her own bed.... it didnt happen, but tonight it will because she woke up before I did and was able to crawl out of mine. Wish us luck on this tonight.

When I woke up this morning the first song that came on Pandora was "Good Day" by Nappy Roots, and I took that as a sign that it should be, if Nappy Roots says it, it has to be.Today I had a sweet friend bring Boston and I breakfast, then an hour later a friend of mine, Lindsey, that I hadnt really seen since middle school brought me over some doTerra oils to try. I am loving them so far. I will keep you up to date on if they are helping. She was so sweet and really I hadn't seen her for so long so it made me so thankful to all my Preston hometown people for having my back in tough times.

My mom came down and played with Boston at the gym I go to while I ran then we went to lunch and had a little shopping session since my birthday is coming up. I know I say it often but Boston is so lucky to have such a good grandma, I am so thankful my mom and dad have always considered her a blessing. After she helped me redecorate one of the walls in mine and Boston's home... opinions? The pictures are 8x10's on canvas's that I did...

We got back and took the best nap ever! Then went to drop off some stuff for Uncle Sam 

then went to dinner with a friend where we got to see Uncle Chance. I am so thankful for these boys.

We also ran into Kasey... yes, I am friends with my ex-husband and his family still, and I am very happy about that ... this is the cousin, not the ex.


I also made a new water to try for Mike,(the good one)... its sage and lemon .. so good, try it, let it sit overnight and its even better!

Today was great... I am getting out of my slump.... Because I got reminded of this little saying just barely... she is smart and she is powerful, and smart powerful women don't just curl up in a ball when they have been wounded; they strike back...

I'm a tough cookie. I'm fine. Bad weeks happen.. and it's how I can react to them that matters...?That's all for tonight. Thanks so much for all the love being poured in our direction  I can never express how much it helps to receive such thoughtful words from people daily. I could post all of your nice messages, but I love to read them to Boston so they can be special to just us, and also cause that would be tacky.
