Not so perfect moments

All over Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and blogs we always post our happy moments, our "social media worthy" moments. I'm probably the most guilty of this, matching outfits... Of course we'll take a picture, having fun at the lake... We will obviously take a picture of that, I'm having a great hair day and Boston looks adorable in her outfit.... thats an obvious picture opportunity, Boston's first steps... Well, duh, I am going to write about that. Today will be brief post but I wanted to share our not so perfect moments... 

Boston hasn't kept anything down since last night. She is tired, I am tired. I have been covered in puke, I'm pretty sure I can smell it in my hair but she is napping on me finally so I don't dare get up to wash it. I don't have any makeup on and my hair hasn't come close to a brush,

which really makes my shirt with stains on it not look so bad. I have been changing disgusting diapers nonstop. I hate bodily functions, my friends think its a riot to talk about them in front of me and yet today I have been covered in them, from someone else.These times defiantly wouldn't be anything anyone would "pin" about on Pinterest. Our lives arnt always filled with picture perfect moments. They are filled with a lot of moments between the perfect pictures.

 Pedialyte and Sesame Street are all that have kept us going today. I have washed sheets and towels since 7am. Our house is a mess, I am hungry, and so tired. These are the moments that don't make it to social media, these are the moments  that don't get documented as well. These moments are just as important though, these moments I bond with my Boston, they teach me about myself as well, these are the moments she learns she trusts me and its her mamma who is always there for her. Motherhood isn't always pretty but it's worth every second.
