Family Parties

My moms side of the family is really really close. I was always doing things with my cousins when I was little and I love that Boston is getting the same experience I had. My mom is the oldest sibling to three brothers -who are the most opposite but amazing men to have for uncles ever- and our family gatherings are always great.

Tomorrow is our family Christmas party and it's always so fun. My moms maiden name is 'King' and like I mentioned she has three brothers which worked out perfectly at Christmas time as my grandpa always requested to hear his sons sing, "We Three Kings'  accompanied by my mom..(it also works out because my family is the most musical family.. Literally it's like a requirement to play and instrument or sing in our family). It's our second year without Grandpa John so that's a little different but I know it will still be good. We eat amazing food, play an intense game of bingo, catch up with cousins we don't get to see as much anymore, eat more good food, get and give presents... It sounds cheesy but it really is a great time. Boston and I are looking forward to it! I'm sure I will flood my next post with pictures from it.... Sorry in advance.

We have the King family party tomorrow and the Ogden family party Sunday (cool
Family names, right?..). This is what we love about the holidays...family time.

Also, I made an awesome new pie for tomorrow (I have decided I LOVE making pie). I'll let you know if it was a success or not since I kind of didn't follow a recipe...

•one box of birthday cake Oreo's.. You take out the cream and blend the cookie part till it makes crumbs. You melt all of the cream part for 35 seconds in the microwave. Blend those two together and press in a pie pan and bake for seven minutes.

•a vanilla box of pudding gets put in for the filling, slice up strawberries to put in it and top with some sprinkles!
**i will put the whipped cream on tomorrow.

We went to lunch with 'namma'..
Bost LOVES my mom so much!
I asked for her best smile for the picture...
