Dear Boston,
According to statistics there are approximately 216,000 babies born every day in the whole entire world and on February 24, 2012 you were one of them. I had to wait a little bit to hold you after you were born since we were both not doing so well after 24 hours of labor and when it was finally time I was a little bit nervous and a lot excited.
Holding a newborn baby is always such a good experience but this was obviously different because you weren't just any newborn baby, you were my newborn baby. The little human whose room I had been putting together, whose tiny clothes I had been hanging so carefully on miniature hangers, whose name I had picked out years in advance. It was like I was about to meet someone I already knew. When I finally held you I didn't know if I should smile or cry, so I did both and at that my moment my life was forever changed.
You are the best surprise I have ever gotten; you make so many people so happy, my life is so wonderful with you in my world. You are so fun, so sweet, so sensitive, so caring, and so silly. I have never seen such a big personality in such a tiny body. Boston Sophia Bronson, you make every day and every situation an adventure. I do miss you being my little tiny baby sometimes but I am so excited to watch you grow and learn so many new things.
I don't think you will ever really realize that I need you just as much as you need me.
Happy birthday, sweet baby Boston.
XO:
Mom
