Age of Friends

When it comes to friends I don't really think age is a relevant factor. Wait, let me retract that statement... After a certain age age isn't a factor. 

The majority of the people I hang out with are either family or people I work with. I used to form friendships at parties but I don't go out to them hardly so my closest confidants nowadays are colleagues... And they come in all ages.

I have a friend that I work and hang out with, Ryanne, who is 20. I love hanging out with her because she hasn't really had the opportunity to be screwed over too harshly by the world and her sunny disposition is refreshing.

My manager, Yvone, who I hang out with as well, is in her 30's. I like hanging out with her because she has a calmness and experience I learn from.

I have a few friends in their mid-twenties and I love hearing about their relationships, family and things I relate to.

So, basically I am just saying I am not apologetic for who I hang out with regardless if they are 20 or 40, because they are good 
friends to me and I whole-heartedly enjoy the qualities they contribute to mine and my daughters lives. Small rant for the day but I had to put it out there.
