ASHLYNN & BOSTON: Surgery

Brief update... I had surgery Wednesday... and it was a pain in the butt, literally. So, back in February I hurt my tailbone. It was bruised and where the bruise was I got an abscess. It was actually on Boston's birthday and it was terrible. In February they had to cut it open and fix it. Since then it has came back five times so my Dr. sent me to Logan Regional to have surgery to get it fixed.

The staff there and my Dr. were all so nice. Surgery wasn't till 2:00 pm and I couldn't eat that whole day so I was starving. They had to go in and remove a cyst and so far and at the checkup he said everything looks good. My back has really hurt and obviously where they operated still hurts but I am finally starting to feel somewhat better. I am so lucky to have the awesome family I do that has taken care of myself and Boston. I am pretty blessed to have pretty cool friends that bring us dinner, treats, drinks and kept us entertained.... and I have even talked some of them into helping me change my gauze... (ewwww).
