So, if you're friends with me... you know what political party I am affiliated with and you know who presidential candidate I voted for. I will just throw it out there.... I am a republican who cast my vote for Donald Trump. But, Planned Parenthood can be a great program that has helped me when I wasn't able to get into my doctors office. I am super prolife but abortions are just a small thing that happens there and great things happen there as well. I have ZERO problems with same-sex marriage. I could never look at my marriage and then look at a female friend of mine who is also married to a woman and say my marriage is better. I really love Trump's knowledge concerning business and economics and strongly believe that he can help with the debt our country is in. I also am for border control. I heard someone say one that they lock their doors at night not because they hate what is outside but because they love what is inside.
I wish there could be a common sense party that wasn't so left or so right winged and just agreed to disagree on certain issues. Aerosmith sang in their song, "Dream On" a lyric I loved, "You got to lose to know how to win." Republicans, we won, but remember two elections in a row we lost, and it sucked. Don't try to gloat and to those that are dealing what we dealt with in 2008 and 2012. Democrats, the only thing worse than a sore winner is a sore loser. You hated when the president and his family you elected was disrespected, don't repeat what was done. Be better. Let the man have a chance to screw up before persecuting him.
Basically I just wanted to write this because we are all on the same boat and wanting any of that boat to sink is going to bring your part of the boat down as well. Abraham Lincoln (my personal favorite president) once said, "United we stand, Divided we fall." Just something to think about.
And, again, sorry for posting about politics on here.
