Balling on a Budget

You don't need to be loaded of money to do fun activities with your baby(s). I have had a ton of people ask some suggestions of what Boston and I do for fun. To say we pinch our pennies is an understatement but we still manage to have a great time. So today we have made a list of some really cost friendly things so you can be balling on a budget, too.

1: Go to grandma and grandpa's, there is usually food and they help spoil the babe. 

2: In our valley there are two splash pads. Both are free and awesome.

3: Stoller walks are a favorite of Boston's. We got our nicer, bigger stroller from a yard sale. We love walking to the closest Sno Shack to our house for a treat.

4: If you can't make it to a splash pad sprinklers are always fun to run through.

5: I am lucky because one of my best friends works at a theater but if you go to the day time ones or cinefour you can get killer deals.

6: We love the Gardners Market at Willow Park every Saturday morning.

7: If you want to get pampered but don't want to drop the big dough to do so you can go to New Horizons beauty school, my alma matter, and get amazing pedicures, facials, scalp treatments and manicures, for a fraction of the price. If you book with over a certain amount you can get a deal usually as well.

8: obviously we live in a super pretty valley with tons of amazing trails to hike. We are going to the Wind Caves, up Logan canyon, again this week. We always love going to second dam to fees ducks; we were there again this morning.

9: Boston loves animals and we visit Willow Park a lot. But during the colder months we went to Pet Mart almost weekly for her to see the different animals they have there.

10: We love going to Gossners and Pepperidge Farm to sample the cheese, cookies and breads and we usually come home with something good at an awesome price.

...We mentioned some of our favorite local places to go without spending a ton of money...
