ORGANIC

I don't know how the conversation began but the other day the topic of organic food got brought up. The fact that some people only get organic of certain foods has always been a mind-blowing concept to me; a carrot is a carrot no matter how it is grown. After a little bit I started to wrap my head around the idea of people like the fact that something that is organic is something that is something that is specialized for them. A carrot my just be a carrot but it is different to have a carrot that isn't just like the countless other carrots that it was planted and grown by. Organic food is different because their is nothing artificial that has been added to it; it is all real, it doesn't have anything fake about it.


I am starting to appreciate the concept of organic for something other than food in my life but more-so for people. I like people that at first can't have an easy and free flowing conversation around me. I enjoy people that seem somewhat nervous and awkward around me as I am them because that way you know that is new for them, it is specialized,  you aren't getting the same thing that so many others have gotten or are getting; it is organic. You shouldn't trust charming... the person who can say all the right things have probably said all of the right things to others before you; it needs to be a little awkward, a little raw. I like my people organic with knowing the fact that their hasn't been anything added to it that makes it not natural so it isn't fake.

People like the concept of organic because they don't want anything to be put in their life to be just one of many but rather they wan't it to be custom. The downfall of anything that is organic is that it usually takes a bit more... money, time, patience ect... But, anything that is worth having is worth putting forth the extra that is required for it. Don't settle into buying the carrots that are a little less just to save a few dollars, get the carrots you deserve.
