Christmas Change's

Confession... I am loving the snow.... well, not really loving the snow, I am still bad at driving in it and I hate being cold but I have had so much fun playing in it with Boston.

Sledding.
Even this grandma of 8 went down a few times.

This Christmas is going to be a little different for Boston and I.... Until June of this year Boston's dad saw her six times a year those times never really fell on holidays but now that he only lives about three hours away he has been seeing her more which is a catch 22 (I will explain that better on my post Sunday when I give my deeper thoughts on Big Hero 6). So, anyways, it's good for Boston to get to know him and this year on Christmas she will be with him till early afternoon on Christmas day. It hurts because I was told she cry's for me when she is there but I am having to trust that she will be okay and that her dad will take care of her. Our little elf friend has been coming to our house every night night while we have been sleeping and leaving Boston a treat or toy for being good (this isn't the, 'Elf of the Shelf' that guy scared the sh*t out of her). I am going to send the elf to her dad's house and I am hopeful the elf finds her there, too. So, real talk.... will this be hard on me not having my daughter till early afternoon on Christmas? Hell yes. I will probably sulk mildly in between all of the extra hours of work I am putting in. Will Boston be cry being away from mamma? I hope not, actually that hurts my heart to think about, but she will be okay. She isn't gone and my anxiety is already getting the best of me and I guess I am looking forward to the ten pounds I un-healthily lose because I can't eat when she isn't with me.

With that being said Santa has all of Boston's presents ready to go and wrapped because Santa is a crazy person and loves organizing. And I can't wait to see her face when she see's what Santa got her. Besides the sulking and extra hours at work next week I do have some really fun things planned and amazing friends and family to be with till my babe comes home.

That's just a small update... Boston is at her last day of school right now before the break starts and I am sitting in my sweats sipping on a Mt. Dew writing this before I go get her. AND ON AN IMPORTANT SIDE-NOTE........ if you have not entered to win a $100 AMAZON GIFT CARD YOU CAN SEE HOW TO ENTER here . The winner will be announced Monday so make sure you do it before then!
