Things I want to teach my daughter.

Things I want to teach my daughter:

•Always be unapologetically you.

•The world will change you no matter how much you wish it didn't. Accept it and learn from it.

•Take a lot of pictures.

•Your worth isn't determined by other people's perception of you.

•A man is not a financial plan.

•Chocolate is only a temporary fix.

•Take care of your health.

•Be the person who pays for your friends on a girls night out if you can.

Be aware of the power of words.

•Take bubble baths.

•There is nothing wrong with ordering the cheeseburger on your first date.

•It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

•Pay extra for the good shampoo and conditioner.

•Mom will always be there for you.

•Help people when you can. Let others help you when you need it.

•Be kind to your knees.

•Study. Get good grades. Don't let anything stop you from getting your diploma.

•Always be kind to your grandparents. While you are growing up they are growing older. You will miss them something fierce when they are gone.

•Always carry Chapstick and lotion in your purse.

•Strong is pretty.

•People come and go; family stays; but family doesn't always have to be blood.

•Try not to be petty.

•Don't let anybody waste your time twice.

•You just as pretty in sweats as you are an expensive dress; it's about confidence.

•Even when you are a teenage and we butt heads your mom will always love you more than anyone else.

•Compliments are great. Try to give more than you get.

•Pray.

•Wear sunscreen.
