KEVIN

I'm going to tell you all about my step dad. His name is Kevin Ogden. He is the one of the people I look up to very most in this world. He can fix literally ANYTHING. He has been able to get me out of any crisis I have ever been. He has almost never told me no. He is patient. Boston loves him. He is generous. This year I Christmas I heard him and my mom get in the first fight they ever got into and it sounded like this...
"Kevin, did you go take the Christmas present to the neighbors?"
No, sorry, not yet."
"Well, you said you were going to."
"I'm sorry, I will do it right now."
"Thanks."

That was it. That was the only fight I have ever seen. The reason I have a step dad is because my dad, Michael, died when I was ten years old. Both Kevin and Michael Bronson gave me wonderful example of how a father should act so I know what is acceptable and what isn't. Now, here is what I love about Kevin. When he met me he didnt try to be my dad, he didnt hurry and take a bunch of pictures with me trying to prove that he was a good person because he already was. He didnt showcase me like I was an object and say, "Hey, look, I'm a parent now," or "look I have a kid." He didnt do these things because he isnt insane, obviously, and because he isnt trash like that. I have talked to my mom about this subject lately and we have talked about how my dad, Mike, would like Kevin cause of how he Handled things.

Eleven months ago I can be proud and happy of the fact that I was the woman giving birth to my little miracle  not the woman sneaking around in the hospital parking lot.

side note... Kevin really is great, why do Boston and I have to deal with seriously insane people. tomorrow I will post something so positive it will blow your mind.

                                             Boston and her Favorite Grandpa!

I had such a good example of what a dad is.
