Pit Stop

Normally in my life I look at people and objects as replaceable. Dog dies, get a new one, lost a shirt buy a new one. Boston's dad booked it, she will have a new one. I sound really extremely calloused when I say this but my dad died when I was ten and a while later I got another one. I never feel to sad when something is gone because I have always been able to replace it.... that is till I became a mom and became super emotional.

Our home is the pit stop for a lot of friends. My friend, Tara, had a few months before she could move into her new apartment in the fall so she stayed with us. During the month of April my friend, Rachel stayed with us since her apartment contract was over and she had to stay in Logan till finals were done. She left today and we are already missing her. Maybe it's just cause it was a sad week to begin with and we are sick of being harassed. I hate people leaving sometimes. Our friends Monica and Hali left and so many others are for the summer. This week is no fun. Getting threats from we all no who isn't making me happy either.

Before she left I gave her a hug, which if you know me hugging is like pulling teeth. I hate hugs. I am awkward at them find them pointless, so it was a big deal to give her one. If you need a pit stop place come visit us. At this point in the day I'm going to do what any other moderately sad cosomotologist with a drawer full of hair chemicals would do and see what I can do to my hair.


I think I need to keep reminding people cause it's getting closer but don't forget to nominate your mom! If she is wonderful email me and tell me why. We have those awesome prizes we are dying to give away on Mothers Day!
