ASHLYNN & BOSTON: Everyone needs a Tara

Every Wednesday on Instagram we like to post our Wednesday Wisdom... Basically just things we have recently learned. Last week I posted a quote I had found:

Now without sounding silly I am lucky. I have a lot of really good friends, I have talented friends, smart friends, beautiful ones, fun ones, great babysitter friends, nice ones, genuine ones... Boston and I are blessed. My friends are all amazing but I feel like every person needs a Tara.

Tara is awesome. She was the first person to know about Boston. I met her after her and our mutual friend, Chance, went to a scary movie and I felt the need to chase them down the street at midnight to scare them, she knew from the get-go I was strange and she still accepted me. She threw one of the two baby showers for Boston. My friends are all young and babes that came so I wasn't sad when they went out that night after the shower, but Tara rented a creepy movie and helped me put Boston's new presents away since I was 8 months pregnant. I was an idiot and didnt pack any sort of hospital bag when I went to the hospital to have Boston but Tara drove to my apartment late and packed me one to take to me at the hospital, then she stayed with my family in the waiting room all night waiting for Boston's arrival even though she had to work the next day. She came almost every day to see Boston and I at the hospital even though she could only see her through a glass window.

Tara is the polar opposite of me.. She is soft spoken and she doesn't have a temper at all. She literally hasn't been mean to anyone. She has helped me bite my tounge a million times. Tara has babysat so many times for Boston, in fact Boston only doesn't cry when I leave of she is with my mom or Tara. Tara isn't even a "baby person" and Boston loves her. She helped me put Boston's first birthday party together even.

The list of nice things she has done could go on but I probably should stop because unlike me Tara is a really humble person and im sure she wants me to. For every loud, center of the crowd person their is a Tara with them that stops that person from doing stupid things. I'm just feeling super appreciative right now to Tara who is planning fun things this weekend for me to keep myself occupied while Boston spends a short amount of time with her "dad".
