Our recipe of the week

I hate cooking, I should probably rewind that sentence... I love cooking but I hate taking a lot of time to do it. Lately I have been in love with HuHot; it's this cool place where you pick out a bunch of veggies, meats, noodles, rice and seasons and give it to a man at the grill and be cooks it all for you right there. I have decided to save myself some cash and make it at home. Here is our super quick, easy way we do it.

As soon as we get back from the grocery store we do all the prep work. I cut the veggies I bought, clean them and separate them into their own tupperware. If I do this when it's ready to cook and I'm starving I save tons of time and I just have to throw all of the ingredients together.

You get a large skillet and put extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic (I just use the pre-minced in the jar) and some Lemmon juice. After that starts sizzling I add either chicken, crab of steak pieces. We love the crab lately.

After that's been cooked through you add your veggies starting with the hardest ones first. We use green, yellow and red peppers, celery, add baby corn, then mushrooms.

Our last veggie we add is spinach.

I don't really like noodles or rice so we use this instead, and it takes less than five minutes to make.

Dish it up and add salt, pepper, soy sauce , siracha or any season you like.
This is what we have had for dinner five times last week. It's healthy and delish and even better quick to make. Boston loves it, too!

I love candy, sugar, soda, cookies... That's my biggest weakness. I always get told, "you can't exercise a bad diet away" and "abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym". Cookies, however are made in the kitchen and I don't know if I could give those up for abs. It's weird because for every cookie I eat I eat a veggie, too. I love love love veggies and fruits. If you can give us some of your personal treats that you love that are healthier I would love you for it. Lately, every night I have been making blueberry almond milk; which is just a cup and a half of almond milk and a half a cup of blueberries blended together. Soooo good and so far does a pretty good job satisfying my sweet tooth, but I would love to try out new things. Health is wealth....

Share with us your favorite recipes that arnt full of sugar!? And let me know if you like our HuHot recipe.
 Happy Tuesday!
