Thankful week one

I went to pay my rent this morning and my landlord told me she needed to talk to me. She began to ask me if I knew how much my rent was exactly. I admited I wasn't quite sure on the exact amount so every month I guessed and added some just to be safe. She laughed and told me that not once has my rent check I dropped off been for the same amount and that because of this I had a pretty good sized credit towards rent and that my November rent amount is (a lot) cheaper. She also gave me a post-it note to stick on my fridge so I can remember the actual amount from here on. I am so thankful for an honest and nice landlord so I can have this extra money during the holiday season!

I can't keep up on the Facebook daily thankful crazy but I am indeed thankful for so much. Every Monday during November I want to share just a few of what I am grateful for.

•Boston. I think I will include her on every list. It amazes me that such a small human can impact such a big change in a persons life. I can't even begin to describe the blessing she continually brings into my life. Her enthusiasm for everything is contagious.

•My parents. They literally are the worlds best grandparents and parents (or at least in the top five). I don't know what I would do without their support, help and generosity.

•Kindness from random strangers. My life would be the pits if it wasn't for kindness from people who don't even need to be.

•My job. They are so wonderful to me and work so well with my schedule. My coworkers are so fun and great friends, who are so great to not only me but Boston as well.

•a reliable car that takes me to work/school/dr appointments and anywhere I need to get... And a dad who always makes sure it is reliable; even through he still is baffled as to why I picked out a PT cruiser.

•and my list of not so huge but still important ones... Face wash•warm clothes•taco time•hot sauce•the walking dead•chocolate•caffeine•good books•coupons•yoga pants/leggings•Tom Brady•good friends•bubble baths•Sesame Street netflix•good running shoes...

I heard once, " what if we woke up with only what we thanked God for the night before?"  I need to do more prayers of gratitude and less prayers asking for blessings.

She was too distracted by the 'nose (snow) to look up for a picture.

  3. I think she doesn't get how dumb she is when she copies you. ;) but everyone who wastes there time looking at her does. Maybe people would believe that she was thankful for Boston if she didn't complain about child support always
