Holidays...

Everyone loves the Christmas season, and I get why they do it's just never been my thing. You know that feeling of excited-ness and anticipating that so many people feel right now? I get that feeling mid May when I know that it's almost summer. I would pick the Fourth of July over Christmas any day. I used to tell everyone that my dad died on Christmas and it worked for a while until one of my teachers gave my mom condolences and my mom explained that he died March 13th.

Don't get me wrong I like Christmas but for some reason it makes me sad, too(Probably not normal I guess). I am not a cryer but the song, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is just so sad to me; listen to the Tyler Hilton version, it's heartbreaking. Or, why can't we have "Christmas cheer" all the time rather than just cram it into a month? I do love giving presents, so much that I have gave most of my friends theirs already (two weeks ago).

Beyond the gift giving I am somewhat of a Scrooge, but having Boston makes my heart grow three sizes. After a million guilt trips I got is a tree.. It's actually really cute and we decorated it in pink, silver and black with her sweet little crown on top..She loves it & we have already slept by it once.

What are so fun ideas to do with a one year old to make the holiday season great? I love the family time and the get togethers. I like all the holiday treats and the nativity story. I have had so much fun helping Santa pick out what Boston would like to see Christmas morning.

Watching Charlie Brown Christmas.

•••I was going to finish this post better but I thought Boston was asleep and I just checked on her in her room using my lipstick to paint the walls... Please feel free to send your suggestions on fun holiday itinerary.

XO:
& happy December!
