Two important things happen this week...

•The 1st it's the weekend where I work at the Utah Arts Festival with my family in Salt Lake City... I have worked at this event since 2002 and I have a love/hate relationship with it.

I Love:

Working with my family.

The amazing art they have.

The performances on the huge stages.

The food is delish.

I get to carry around a walkie talkie.

I don't love:
Working with my family.

The long hours I work each day.

How freaking hot it gets.

The 2nd (and more important) is that on the 24th Boston turned 28 months! I know... I know... You don't count in months past a certain point. But let me explain... in 2011 I was given a bamboo plant with the only instruction being that I water it once a month... It only made it four months. Obviously I didn't care about that plant half as much as I do my Boston but still we loving having milestones to celebrate. We went and got some of our favorite cupcakes in her honor and I am going to tell you 28 things about her.

•1 She finally has enough hair for a little ponytail (and loves when I give her one).

•2 She give amazing hugs.

•3 She loves to sing.

•4 She loves to dance.

•5 Have you heard 'Shake it For me' by Luke Bryan? Her version she sings and dances to is even better.

•6 She makes adorable monster faces.

•7 She has the best curly morning hair.

•8 Animals are her favorite.

•10 She loves jumping on the bed.

•11 Getting into my makeup and lotion is one of her favorite things to do.

•12 And my shoes.

•13 She loves playing with her big cousins!

•14 She can count clear to 14.

•15 I don't give it to her as much as she would like but she LOVES ice cream.

•16 Sesame Street is still great but the last few weeks whenever she gets to watch a show is Daniel Tigers Neighborhood that she picks.

•17 She loves stroller walks with mamma.

•18 She is very social and hardly shy around any person or thing.

•19 She loves when I paint her nails.

•20 She is a huge fan of the water..the pool, the splash pad, the bath tub.. You name it.

•21 She loves coloring on the sidewalk with chalk.

•22 It's not scientifically proven but I am pretty positive that if we could somehow bottle up her sweet little laugh it could probably cure all sorts of diseases.

•23 She still snores at night.

•24 She loves picking out her clothes for the day & she is really loving 'slip slops' for her shoes lately.

•25 She loves catching bugs.

•26 She loves otter pops just as much as I do.

•27 She loves reading books.

•28 Her happiness is contagious. 

Seriously, I am so blessed by having her in my life. Here is to hoping the next 28 months are just as great!
