Small Town

(Heads up this is wrote from my phone so excuse any errors you may see)

Today is my last day working at the Utah Arts Festival. It's a weekend event in Salt Lake City I have worked at for my family for thirteen years. I seriously love it and I am so thankful for the opportunity to makes some extra. Their have been amazing performance, people watching, food and animal world is right next to it so I have gone to that, too! I have taken a ton of cool pictures but you know when your random uncle goes on a vacation and he tries to show you his pictures of Mt. Rushmore and it's really only cool to him... Yeah... So, here is only a few.

My friends, Dayne and Savannah, came down yesterday and I hung out with them for a bit... And I have no problem taking a third wheel picture with them.

I was able to meet up
and hang out with my old friend from school,
Jeff.

And this was the start of the first day compared to
the third... Look how tired I start to look.

•••I'm loving it but I am so thankful to go home tonight. Don't get me wrong I love living in Logan but the longer I am in Salt Lake this weekend the more thankful I am for Idaho. So just because I am feeling a tad homesick I made a super small list of why growing up in a small town is so great. These are things those city kids just might not get.

•Everyone knows everyone (which can be a good or bad thing)
•You don't need to show your I.D. when you are going to the bank.
•You get to create your own fun. Concerts and big events you have to travel to so on Friday night it's
up to you to figure out entertainment.
•It was exciting and something to look forward to reading the police blotter.
•You didn't really need to tell your Dr. your family history because he already knew it. Chances are he was probably the one who delivered you at birth.
•The HOA doesn't tell you when you need to mow your lawn.
•You don't have to pay for parking.
•Driving main.
•If you are ever going through a crisis of any sort most likely there would be a warm meal on your doorstep.

I love my small town.
