I feel as if sometimes I am not vocally grateful enough about my wonderful childhood I had....Sure, I had some hardships, things weren't always easy; watching my dad die as a ten year old was devastating but for the most part my childhood was one of mostly all good memories and I look back on it fondly. One of the biggest contributors on why I think my younger years were so great is because of the AMAZING town I got to call home. I don't say it nearly as much as I should but I LOVE Preston, Idaho.... & I will always be eternally grateful for the town that raised me. This weekend was 'The Famous Preston Night Rodeo' weekend and I have decided that it's even better coming back as an adult and being able to take my own baby. I am so blessed to have gotten to call this place my hometown!
To be completely honest... although I am from small town I know next to nothing about horses but it sure is fun to pretend once a year... and I feel like since I know every single lyric to all Garth Brooks songs it does give me a little cowboy cred... She loved saying, "hee ha" and "moo" with this hat on.

She is such a lucky little gal to have seven big cousins who are all so sweet to her and they had a great time at the parade.
She told me, "say cheese, mamma... pose".... so this is what we did.
Big cousin, Hunter, helped her be brave on the rides.
And the Merry Go Round was a success! Last year she wasn't too sure about it.
This picture made me kind-of sad but I still wanted to share it... this was last year at the carnival with myself, Boston and my Grandma Darlene... This was our first year at the rodeo weekend events without her and I missed her so much.

This year my mom took a similar picture in almost the exact same spot with us. I had such an amazing grandma and so does Boston.

Preston, Thank you once again for the good time and the good memories!
