Pumpkin Jammies

To say Boston loves the movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas is an understatement. She makes us watch it every chance she gets, she has each song memorized and was beyond thrilled going to the Halloween store last week and seeing so many things that looked like Jack, the Pumpkin King. When we were at Wal Mart yesterday evening we passed the little girl pajama section and she spotted some pumpkin pajama's there was absolutely no way she would let us leave the store without them. I even showed her some cute little pink ones but she was dead set on the Halloween jammie's. They were only six dollars so even though she has plenty of pajamas we couldn't pass that up. We decided to make it fun and grabbed a pumpkin decoration to put by the front door and she was in heaven. We got home and right away had to change into the new jammie's and hang the pumpkin by the door and turn on The Nightmare Before Christmas while we snacked on orange M&M's and popcorn. If you were to ask her it was an awesome night. It made me envious of her life and perspective. The fact that such little things are able to bring her so much happiness.

She loves bubble baths, she loves listening to the cards that sing at the store. She goes crazy for pancakes, she is perfectly content to sit on the front porch and watch the rain. When she gets in bed to fall asleep she can just fall asleep; without a thousand things to worry about. She loves to play with mom's hair and singing makes her so happy. Grandma and grandpa are the coolest and one of the best times she has is playing with her big cousins. The hardest choice she has is if she wan'ts cereal or a waffle for breakfast and she loves tucking all of her stuffed animals in before bed. Her 'go to' outfit is (literally) anything paired up with her kitty ears. There is nothing a Popsicle and a kiss can't make better and she she considers going to McDonald's a reward.

I really really really would love if I could take a pointer or two from her on life.
