New Beds and Theater Fun...*what we have been up to

Here is how our night-time routines go.... After Boston has had her bath we brush teeth, we put on jammies, sing a song or two (or five), read a book, say prayers, put lavender oil on her feet then I tell her it is bed time. About a half hour later I check on her she is using her bed as a miniature, personal trampoline, I work on getting her to lie down again and then I leave her room. Another half hour later and she has snuck out of her bed to play with her toys. We talk about how we need to listen at go to sleep at night and she gets back it bed and I leave her room again. At this point I am in bed and it only takes around twenty minutes until I see her army crawling into my room, trying to be so sneaky. This routine sometimes repeats itself with me taking her back to her bed a few more times and sometimes I just cave and let her come snuggle in my bed till she falls asleep or we both do.

I have never fell out of my bed, even when I was a child... That was until last week, when I fell out. twice. The first time I was getting up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and I misjudged where I was at and fell out and hit my head on the nightstand, resulting in a big black mark on my forehead. I did it once again on Monday but this time it was when I was taking a nap and ending giving myself a black eye from hitting my head on my nightstand. I blame this on the fact that my bed is a full and lately I have been sharing it with a wiggly two year old.

This morning to save myself from anymore black-eyes and shiners on my forehead I bought a new bed from Ashley Furniture! This really isn't something that is too interesting that I should blog about it but I am literally soooo excited to go to sleep on my brand new, pillow top, bigger bed. Boston is just as excited because she thinks the new bed is hers. That's what we have been up to... We went to the movie, Penguins of Madagascar, at the movie theater in West Valley... I will try to write about it the least dramatic as I can BUT it was the coolest theater ever! They had reigndeer inside for Boston plus they sold more than just popcorn and treats there. They also sold ice-cream, taco's and a lot of other food so I didn't even need to sneak a box of pizza in my purse in! Boston and I both loved it! We did a little shopping and I bought a few Black Friday items, like I wanted to for my Winter Bucket list.

It has been a great holiday break so far! Oh, and the next time you see me please feel free to tell me something emarrassing that you have done since I told you I fell out of my bed. Twice.
