Our Christmas

Our Christmas was so amazing! Christmas eve we slept in then I had to come up with things to do all day till our family party started that evening so Boston would be tired enough to go to sleep in good enough time that Santa could come... We went to Lee's and got some last minute snacks, visited a few friends, washed the car... (you can tell I was really trying for ideas).

Our family party was really fun and we had amazing food. Their was turkey, potatoes, lobster bisque, cheese balls, dips, desserts and so many treats. Boston is My sister Emily's family had mine and Boston's name and we got such good presents from them!... Boston is so blessed that she has seven big cousins who just adore her. She was blessed with seven built in friends. My sister Alicia's little girl, Bracken is only a year older and those two, like usual, had so much fun together on Christmas. This is just a few of them.
Oh, and my parents got us three sisters our Christmas P.J.'s from Victoria's Secret.
From my parents we got such nice presents but probably my favorite is the necklace she gave me and my sisters. My grandma passed away this year and it has been really hard not having her here, especially on Christmas. She had a set of silver cutlery that was so special to her and my parents were able to get it made into matching necklaces for us. I LOVE it.

Christmas Eve night when we got home Boston was so wound up so it took quite a while to get her to go to sleep. We set our stockings out, watched a small clip of The Grinch, and set cookies out for Santa. Then... after she was in bed I had to get her to go back to bed about four times.
Santa came and found our little tree during the night!

Boston was a little upset that Santa ate the cookies we left out for him, I guess she didn't get that he was supposed to. Once she noticed the treats and toys she got over it pretty quick. I wish I would have taken more pictures while she was opening gifts but it was just so much more fun to watch her! Among other toys she got a doll that is her size that she wasn't quite sure of. She kept calling it, "her kid" and was a little bit nervous to have a toy her size.

The first thing she looked at was her new Elsa costume. She put it on and admired herself in the mirror for a bit then she went and looked out the window. Her facial expression was priceless when she proclaimed, "I did it"... She literally thought she made it snow by wearing that dress, and I will never tell her otherwise. So, if you see Boston go ahead and thank her for the white Christmas.

My parents made it to our house bright and early so they could watch Boston open presents then after that we got ready for the day and stopped by my sisters house to see what Santa brought them and then we went to my parents house to eat.

The day was so great. I couldn't have ever thought that a little girl could make Christmas as special as it was. So, from our family to yours Happy Holidays! We hope your Christmas was just as special as ours.
