Updates and Pictures

Busy.... that is an understatment for how we have been. Boston got her cast off two weeks ago and we were both so happy about that. I was a little frustrated that she wasn't right back to her normal running and skipping self but the Dr. said that it would take time and to not rush the healing (which would actually make a really good metaphorical post)... Anyways, since we have been doing so much I just thought I would share some pictures.

We put curlers in her hair for the first time and she thought she looked so great.
She was more than happy to go to school without a big cast on her leg.
Dentist appointment... two cavities... even with all of the brushing and flossing the poor girl got her moms teeth. They gave her two shots for the cavities and only one of us cried and it wasn't her. Also, she insists on a kitty face almost daily.
The night before Thanksgiving me and Boston stayed at my cousin, Anthony's house along with a few other cousins. We had a blast! We went to Fat Cats and bowled, played games and we all did the bumper carts. Yep, I am an adult who still has sleepover with her other grownup cousins.

Thanksgiving was so great with all of our family. I love spending time with my cousins because they remind me of my childhood and I can see little pieces of my grandparents in each one of them.
We enjoyed the first snowfall... I don't love snow but seeing how happy it made her made me ease up on not liking it just a little.
Sledding with cousin, Bracken.

The next day we drove up Logan Canyon to look for Elsa, it's a little tradition we started last year. Boston thought if she wore her Elsa dress then Elsa might see her and come down but she was too far up in her ice castle to come out.

We sent off a letter to Santa and our little Elf friend visits us on nights Boston has been especially good.
She had the BEST afternoon playing in my lipstick.
Boston kept saying she needed a vacation so Friday we went to Salt Lake to see all of the lights at Temple Square. She was mesmerized. After we got food and went back to our hotel for some swimming. The next day we did a little shopping and watched the movie, 'The Good Dinosaur' which was absolutely adorable.
Part of our vacation.
Since Boston broke her leg she would have only been able to attend one of her dance classes until her winter recital so I decided to just have her start back up after the holiday break. We still went to the performance to watch cousin, Bracken, dance though. After Boston gave her a hug and told her good job while Bracken picked her up.... ya know, just cause.
Sunday we worked on making a Gingerbread Train (we opted for that over a house this year). At least we can say we tried because every year it turns out the same.

We have been having so much fun together. Tomorrow we get to go see Santa at the mall and she is nervous and happy. I am so thankful every single day to get to be her mom. She is making the holidays so magical. Hopefully Santa can wait until Christmas to give her gifts to her because I know Santa is reallll excited.
